oh my god a number of the comments a lot of people come up with usually are such stoner remarks, now and then i question whether they honestly read the content material pieces and reports prior to posting or if maybe they basically skim the blog titles and submit the first thing that comes to mind. anyway, it's enjoyable to read through smart commentary occasionally compared to the identical, out-of-date post vomit which i typically see on the web

I completely agree with you. Sadly the damage that has been done won't be undone any time soon.

Apple has done some good things, I am not disagreeing there, but I think that if they are are best role model we in pretty bad shape. :)

So, I'm a car guy.

I like driving cars.

I dislike unions; it's a side effect of being an entrepreneur and spending time trying to set up trade-show booths without being threatened. Unions, in my life, are protection rackets.

But the real problem is -- and I don't know whether to blame management, the unions, the designers, or whom -- the real problem is, there are no good American cars.

Sure, the 'vette is good on paper, and it's a great performance value. But it feels like ass and I can't help but thinking that my big mass of plastic is compensating for *something*.

There are pretty cars, like the Solstice. But none of them drive well.

In my garage, I have a 335i, a Lotus, and an Audi. I also hide an '86 Isuzu P'up. I've owned and raced Miatas. They're all smallish cars; they handle well (well, the Audi only so well), and they've all lasted forever.

With all due respect, when America makes a good car that's a value for the money, I'll buy it. Maybe someday the Tesla will get under $50K.

Until then, let's focus on music videos, microcode, and delivering pizza in 30 minutes or less.
