I’m a Hoosier native, went to school at Indiana University, came away with a degree in Microbiology. This led to over ten years in the field, at the IU School of Medicine, as well as Boehringer Mannheim (now Roche). Exit stage left, careerwise, and spent the next 8 years in the software industry, as a consultant for KPMG, as well as product marketing and marketing roles for several firms.
I’ve been fascinated with technology and how it impacts our daily lives. I also have a passion for gardening, hobby farming, and anything related to becoming more self sufficient in an increasingly complex world.
So really hoosier contrarian is all about taking the best of the old and the new, and turning it into something that is balanced, sustainable, and just plain fun.
